Elan

Elan has been with Aurora Tamariki since early 2021. She has a background in Steiner-affiliated homebased early childhood care, and as a facilitator of Steiner playgroups. Elan is currently working towards an Early Childhood Education degree.

She brings warmth and openness to her role and loves the home-like atmosphere at Aurora Tamariki. Elan appreciates the rhythm that carries the centre through each day. She says she feels really lucky to work with such experienced, heart-centred teachers and she is grateful to have such good connections with both her co-workers and the tamariki.

She finds it rewarding to be present with the children every day, creating a secure and comfortable environment for the time that they are away from their own homes.

Outside of work Elan enjoys spending time at the beach, bodyboarding and getting out in the water with her family.
